Fragment

Suddenly a scream, it were the remains of a VC (Viet Cong Fighter). It was recognised by the rain cloth that was found together with the corpse. More people came out of the neighbourhood and somebody phoned the local government and police. This was a finding that had to be cared for. A VC-fighter was a war hero and should be treated with respect. As soon as government people came statements were made and people were nodding in confirmation. This was something special. This went above the responsibility of the local government and another call was made. This time to the military to bring the news of the found remains of a VC-fighter. A little later an old Russian UAZ-469 came roaring and simmering over the just fixed new concrete street. The ‘Goat’, the nickname of the jeep and mentioned in Jeremy’s Clarkson’s documentary Motor world BBC, the ‘worst car in the world’! ‘The only thing what is smooth about it is the spare tire’. ×
