Fragment

Mytho was our first destination in the Mekong Delta. Our hotel was flooded with hookers in the evening. There was a gallery on every floor with connecting doors to every room. From this gallery, the hookers climbed through the windows to offer their services even my female travel companion was in the room. Desperate people do desperate things!
We reached Cantho the biggest and still the biggest city in the Mekong Delta with several ferries. Like in many countries, the ferries are inhabited with the less fortunate selling everything related with local food and drinks, selling lottery tickets, themselves or just hoping of some crumbs falling of the 'wagon'. In all these years being around I have seen no farness of the Communist system whatsoever than only for the people who 'belong' to this elite group.
