  This illustrated book is a summary of PPM, the French crane manufacturer during the years 1968-1995.
  
  The company was founded in 1966 by Potain and Poclain, two manufacturers of lifting - and earthmoving equipment, and it became the largest crane manufacturer in France. PPM (Potain – Poclain – Matériel) was well known for its innovative thinking and remarkable designs. The company has designed and built about 100 different models in a total of more then 10.000 cranes, with a lifting capacity of 10 à 120 tonne. During the years, the existence of PPM was closely related to several acquisitions by various of parent companies. Eventually, the company was acquired by the Terex Corporation and in 2004 the company name was changed into Terex France. This meant that the name Potain - Poclain - Matériel vanished.

  Gut
  Mein Kompliment zum neuen PPM Buch. Ich sammle alle Bücher über Krane und Baumaschinen und habe mich sehr über das PPM Buch gefreut. Sehr interessant. Ich freue mich auf die 2 weiteren Bücher.

  Le nom du livre est très bien
  Le livre raconte l'histoire vraie de l'usine accompagnée par de belles photos des grues. Un beau rappel d'une époque révolue!
