  Although the information is updated on-line on their website, the EPO no longer provides a paper version of the National Law tables.
  
  For the EQE exam, it is important to have up-to-date details from the tables, particularly if there is a DI question on the translation requirements after grant, for example.
  
  This up-to-date version uses the latest information from the EPO website. Tables I and VIII are irrelevant for the EQE, so lthey have been left out. An index and page numbers have been added, as well as validation information published in the OJEPO for Morocco, Moldova, Tunisia & Cambodia.
  
  The EPC Contracting States, Extensions States and Validation States are covered. An overview and quick-reference is also provided showing their dates of accession to Paris Convention, EPC, PCT, the PCT national entry time limits, whether PCT national routes are closed and whether validation is automatic after grant.
  
  This book is based on the html pages and not on the official table pdf's. This improves readability when it is reduced to A5 size.
  
  This year, the EPO has added a new table: VI. B Renewal fees after successful petition for review.
