  Arzuman Ilyasoglu (Hasanov Arzuman Ilyas oglu) was born in 1955. He is a director with a specialized secondary education and an economist with a higher education. Having worked as an economist for many years, he has focused on literary creativity since 2018. He is the author of eight books written in fantasy, lyrical, adventure, and comedic styles.
  His book, “The Story of the German Girl Maryam” (1941 - Verbannung nach Sibirien - Die Geschichte des deutschen Mädchens Mary), which narrates the story of a German family deported from Azerbaijan, was published in Germany in 2024.
  As an actor, he portrayed the character of a professor in a television series. As a writer and screenwriter, he is a member of the Union of Azerbaijani Writers.
  He is a father of two sons and two daughters and a grandfather to six grandchildren.
