The children of the Anchorage region have long been told tales about the ruins on one of their beloved hills. These tales are being told to keep the children away from the by darkness infested Firehill. But no tale tells the complete story, the true story, of what went down in the August of 1973, and what led up to these unfortunate events on that one fateful night. It’s a story that deserves to be told the right way, and goes deeper than we can imagine, nestling its roots deep within Anchorage.
