Theo Galgenbeld wrote this autobiographical work about his life with a disability. And is the founder of the working group Respect and Understanding limited. This working group gives advice to the WMO Council Hellendoorn and regularly provides guest lectures for schools, companies and institutions. Theo Galgenbeld was born in February 1960
as Benjamin in the family of Dieka and Dorus Galgenbeld in Nijverdal.
Theo had two older brothers and a sister, all healthy in body and limb.
