  At a young age he joined the Chinese revolution movement in Vietnam during the First Indochina War, acting under the code name: “Ten Beans”. Once he was caught and sent to Con Dao, also called the “Devil’s Island”, he met many important Vietnamese communist leaders. Although they lived under terrible conditions and had been treated badly, they managed to survive the oppression from the French officers. After having released from Con Dao, he became a successful managing staff of a big import/export company established by Hong Kong businessmen. Via many opportunities during the Vietnam War, he built a huge network which not only consisted of major well known businessmen, but also many key government and military officials. With this circle of friends, he became a successful businessman and could get anything he wanted. With his wealth and connections he helped the communist friends in many ways. However, at that time he went through a world full of bribes, power abuse, threats and betrayal. In 1975 the war ended, the communists won the war! He finally could help building the country and live in an ideal world he fought for. After a few years he realized the world was not as ideal as he thought it was…
